Sometimes when working with our laser we try and do new and unique items. Today was one of those days where we had some time to play around with a new idea. I have always wanted to try laser engraving on a life size bowling pin but the only ones I have found are made of some sort of man made plastic that I didn't feel comfortable with putting in my laser. After a day of searching the internet I found these miniature wood bowling pins and decided to give it a try.
These miniature pins stand almost 4" tall and have a thin coat of varnish to give them that shine that makes them really look classy. These fit in our laser rotary attachment just like any other round stock and come out looking fabulous! We can paint fill to just about any color but black seems to look the best.
We hope to sell these as a trophy or award, tournament gifts, or even end of the season gifts. We are excited about the possibilities.
